Šilutė District Municipality Administration (Project partner - Šilutė Tourism Information Center) implements the project “Explore the Pomeranian Region by Traveling on a Bird Path”, which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the 2014-2020. Measure No. 1 of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program Priority 5 “Environment, Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Adaptation to Climate Change”. 05.4.1-LVPA-K-808 “E-marketing of priority tourism development regions”. The project "Explore the coastal region by birdwatching" aims to promote ornithological tourism through e-marketing in priority tourism regions. During the implementation of the project, it is planned to publicize natural heritage objects in Šilutė district and Neringa municipality. The main goal of the project is to increase tourist flows and promote ornithological tourism.
